Platinum Plating is used to enhance the durability of Sterling Silver and protect it from scratching and tarnishing. The specific platinum plating we use at Maielle Jewellery is Rhodium (a precious metal which is rare to find and can be more expensive than gold).
We guarantee the authenticity of our materials as every piece can be found with a 925 stamp.
